Coming Soon: More collaborations with AORN and their spin off publication: The Stitch
Realizing my childhood dream, I became a nurse over 20 years ago. While in college working on my nursing degree I worked as a campus paper editor in order to help pay for tuition. I have always loved playing with words. The two worlds meld nicely in the world of healthcare content creation. As an OR nurse, the call and extra hours began to dictate the time I could invest in my family. I started my nurse writing business to turn a hobby into a living and take back control of my time with my kids.
As a nurse writer I specialize in encouraging effective communication both with patients and with co-workers. My experiences span intensive care, surgery, AHA education, and pediatrics. In my free time I love hanging out with my amazing teenagers and husband whether it’s playing in the mountains or lazing about on the couch. I also spend a lot of time at my piano and in my favorite chair reading Books.
You need a nurse to add expertise and validity to your words. You need a writer to add eloquence to those words. Let’s dialogue about collaborating on written communication and medical content for your company.
